As long as you know at the start that this is the middle part of one long tale split into three books, then this a very good enjoyable read.

Before They Are Hanged by Joe Abercrombie: 3/5

slogged thru the first 2/3s but then it rly picked up during the last third. i feel like this is a pretty common thing that happens w sequels. idk i think im just not that invested in any of the storylines, and only care for a few of the characters. i am enjoying the strengthening bonds and character progressions so i think the last and final book of the trilogy will be a rly good one!
