I think this was very fun. There was a good adventure/ mystery storyline, and I liked reading more from Rysn’s perspective because I thought she was really interesting when she first showed up. Even though the trade/ compromise that they made with the hoardling things at the end was a little confusing, I enjoyed the book and I should honestly probably read it again to understand it fully.

This was such a lovely read! Rsyn has been my favourite Stormlight side character since her first appearance in her interlude, and she really shines here.
The focus on her disability is handled very thoughtfully (at least as far as I can tell) and this story is really easy to burn through.
A perfect balance of character work, an intriguing plot, and lots of worldbuilding packed into such a short story.
I almost skipped this because I was so eager to get started reading Rythm of War - I’m so glad I didn’t.

I enjoyed getting to spend some more time with Rysn and Lopen! Also, it's always good to learn a few more secrets about the Cosmere.
