It started off good but was a bit too predictable in story progression. The wife's (soon to be ex) lack of family feeling bothered me and while I understand Jackson's daughter being hurt and upset by her parents not being together and her mom not being around, her attitude switcheroo towards Millie was a bit much. Being close to your sisters is one thing but when one of them mentions walking away from a relationship, I don't expect them to automatically assume that the guy did something wrong. I think if these things had been dealt with differently, I might have enjoyed the story more.

4.5 stars!!!

A Pinch of Salt was my FIRST read by Bethany Lopez, and it was so CUTE. I wanted to read it as soon as I knew there was a single dad in it. Jackson and Millie were so SWEET and ADORABLE they almost made my tooth ache. ;) I loved the relationship between all of the sisters!! I'm SO EXCITED to read Tasha and Dru's stories!!!

This was so bland and way too instalovy for me. Also, if the male main character had been ugly, his thoughts would’ve definitely been deemed creepy and not romantic at all.

Sweet

This was a sweet love story and an easy read. Perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon. But the whole thing with the principal was weird.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This book was exactly what I needed. I have been in a book hangover from a series I was reading and this brought me out of it. I loved Millie and Jackson. The story was so sweet. I cannot wait to read the next book. The narrator was enjoyable too!
