I thought this book was interesting in parts, but it isn’t really about the premonitions bureau or its investigations. This is part biography of the doctor who founded the bureau, accounts of disasters in the 60s and some philosophy shoe horned in. I thought swathes of the book weren’t really relevant and was only included to pad out the book. I also thought this padding made the book feel poorly structured and each part jumps around a lot. Didn’t find it a cohesive read I’m afraid.
Note - there is a description of an experiment involving rats that some might find upsetting!
