Enjoyed but super annoyed by the ending. Ends on cliffhanger without resolving the mystery. Loved the characters but feel cheated.

I definitely think that this series could've been just one book or a duology at most. Drags way too much kills the enjoyment. The parts that involve the past are much more interesting than Stevie and whatever's going on with her. Unfortunately the mystery will be solved in the last book. I will continue to read this series not necessarily because I love this story but because I'm curious as to what happened to Alice and who are the murderers.

I still don't trust David at all, the fact that he continues to lie and his dad is Edward King? Red flag, jail him so that there is no more victims. How can Stevie like him I don't know.

As I’m choosing to read a mystery I’m waiting to get answers as I reach the end of the book …
But this book leaving everything hanging in the air in a such frustration way
I don’t think I’m invested in the relationship between the characters only the riddle and I don’t see my self picking the sequel any time soon
