Lewis gives his reader's many ways to cross "that" bridge. Whatever bridge that may be, the only way to do so is with love.

A beautifully written piece with a depth of wisdom and love. May John Lewis rest in peace, and through his words and work, continue to be remembered as a giant in the same way he looked up to his leaders.

This is a beautiful, inspirational, hope-filled, and peaceful gem promoting nonviolence, unconditional love, and unity. John Lewis had a wonderful soul and lived through many harrowing civil rights events. Across That Bridge should be required reading. His optimism and light shine bright in every page.

This was a wonderful memoir and very well-written. While it’s so disturbing to read the past and how humans were treated, the author stood up for what was right and did so with peace and love. His inspiring words are still applicable today, which is quite unfortunate. We are all humans and are all created equal. Thank you to John Lewis, MLK, and all of the others who crossed that bridge, walked those miles, and stood for what should have been a basic human right. Thank you....
