Loved, Loved, Loved this book! Normally it takes me a couple of chapters to get into a book, but in this case I was hooked from the prologue and the moment Gray nicknames Ivy special sauce, and ivy calls Gray cupcake in return! The story was so fun to read, although there is some angst, it didn't detract from the story and actually made it more real. I loved both main characters, they really worked as a couple, and were individually strong too. I would definitely recommend this book, and will be eagerly awaiting more books in the series. Hopefully one will feature Grays teammate Dex and Ivy's sister Fi.

I definitely liked this one a lot more than book 1 in the series. The instant friendship chemistry between Ivy and Gray was so endearing.
There were a lot of LOL moments in this book, and a few running jokes. Mainly Ivy's bright pink mini car! How on Earth Gray ever got in that car to begin with is beyond me, but he kept doing it!
Ivy and Gray have such an easy relationship with each other that reading this book was just smooth. There were no awkward moments or hiccups. Well, that is until the transition from friends to lovers starts to take place. We all know how that can be sometimes. The should we/should we not dilemma.
In the end, through the friends to lovers transition, piled on with a bit of family drama from Gray's side and an unexpected twist for our adorable couple, this book is definitely worth the read. I loved it.

”I’ve never met a person who occupies a space as wholly as Gray does. It has nothing to do with what he says or does, it’s simply his energy, his joy. Everyone instinctively knows he loves life, and they want so soak up that joy.”
Kristen Callahan writes dialogue really well. However, this was just kind of there. It was a good book, I didn’t like the twist at the end, either of the two. Nothing special, but nothing I will kind about probably ever again.

Was delighted with the way the friendship developed and the relationship progressed. The story was fast paced and fun.
