I like how this book focuses more on Sara and Jeffery’s past and how subtle hints to some aspects of this were dropped in within previous books and were looked at in greater depth in indelible. I also liked how two different points in their lives were used and connected to the real-time storyline.

Again there were some contradicting details (first there was space between the stomach and the trousers but then he had already been stripped of his clothes for example). 
There is a lot of procedural nonsense in these books so far. I mean, there’s an ongoing investigation and Sara just tells her mother everything? 
The translation was bad, making for strange sentences and sometimes using literal translations as a result of which the actual meaning was lost.
And still, I have to admit that I am liking the series so far, growing a connection with the characters and wanting to know how their lives and relationships will develop as well as being gripped by the crimes being committed.
