This was pretty good. It was funny and exciting, and I want to read the sequel. Teru was a good MC, and Daisy was entertaining. 4 stars.

Someone recommended this one to me a long time ago, and I decided now was the time to read it. Since I was searching for a good romance comedy manga again. :)

This one was a very cute manga, though Teru is a bit of an idiot at times (I mean seriously, how does she not know who Daisy is. There are hints everywhere! And isn't it a bit too convenient that he (people who read it know who the he is) is always magically there, out of of nowhere?). But I also really liked her. She was brave, she continued living and did her best everywhere. I felt sorry for her that she lost her brother, and that she is now poor and living alone.
Luckily she has Daisy, a friend of her brother, with whom she is exchanging mails/messages. He always helps her out, though she never really asks for help, she just tries to make things seem totally different, much better than they really are.
I am happy with that attitude. I think I would have hated it if she kept asking Daisy for favours constantly.

I didn't like Kurosaki at times. He was at times just a prick and while I am sure he has good intentions (especially when we find out certain things), but I think he should have done things differently. But he is a good guy, he is there for Teru, helping her out, even giving her food (which she accepts very happily).

The situations in the book are a bit over the top. Seriously? Hackers? Pervy guys? More bad guys? Several other things happening? And that all in 192 pages. Nope. I do hope the next volumes will have less of this. I want Teru to find out who Daisy is, I want Kurosaki to be honest and I want several other things.

I will probably read the rest of this manga soon, since (even with the over-the-top stuff) it is a good manga with romance and comedy. Just what I need.

I like it. 3.5 deh, setengah poin untuk gambarnya yang bagus dan rapi. tadinya saya kira preman di sini bener-bener preman yang gahar, tampang menyeramkan dan ditakuti semua orang. kenyataannya ya, cuma orang yang galak dan tidak terlalu pandai mengungkapkan perasaannya.

memang sih tipikal serial-serial cantik lainnya. tapi saya suka setting ceritanya, tentang hacker dan cracker. cuma mungkin perkembangan cerita seputar hacker dan cracker-nya hanya jadi latar, coba lebih dikembangkan gitu. pada intinya sih tetep cinta-cintaan hihihi.

I like this. I mean, yes they like each other, but no, it's not completely focussed on them. I like that Teru has her own personality and problems and is not completely focussed or obsessed with Kurosaki/DAISY. I also like that it is the same with Kurosaki/DAISY. I would definitely keep reading this. I mean I did enjoy Black Bird but there were so many annoying factors, that I just wanted to stop reading (even though there were many good attributes to the story). This reminds me of SLH by Aya Shouto (Loved that manga) and Skip Beat! by Yoshiki Nakamura and Nononono by Lynn Okamoto. All of which have females characters that don't annoy me! - can handle themselves and even though they cry sometimes, they can stand on their own!

Teru Kurebayashi is alone in the world with only the text messages of her deceased brother's friend "Daisy" to comfort and encourage her. Teru is a strong girl and she tries not to rely too much on Daisy's help. That's why, after breaking a window at school, she has to work off the damages for school custodian Tasuku Kurosaki. Despite his gruff exterior, Kurosaki seems to have a soft spot for Teru.

This was a fun, adorable manga. I love both the main characters. Teru is a good, strong, cute heroine, and Kurosaki has a tough exterior but is a really good guy who takes care of Teru. Lots to find out about Kurosaki's past and how it intertwines with Teru's. It's a guilty pleasure that made me smile from ear to ear, which is why I read manga in the first place!
