I like this series for reminding myself of the basics, but there are a few things that were inaccurate in here, or slightly misleading in wording.

While a general idea can be gotten from reading Introducing Aesthetics: A Graphic Guide, there is just too much material that the author is trying to cover in too few pages. I wouldn't mind looking into the subject of aesthetics again, but with perhaps more room to explore and expand concepts.

A good taster. I'm just wandering into the field of aesthetic philosophy, and I found it very helpful, at least to get an idea of who I need to read more about.
It would probably be impossible to strike exactly the right balance between really fully explaining some of these difficult concepts and being concise enough to cover the entire range from foundations to post-modern theory. This book errs on the side of keeping it simple. Sometimes things are so simplified that they obscure the point, sadly.
