I really loved this. I believe Sloth is on par with Wrath. There was just something about Sloan & Max connection that was magical. They had so much story beforehand and when they finally were "forced" to breathe the same air, i could feel their connection.
I very much loved Sloan  and her superpower. Contrary to what she thought about her power, i thought it was a cool and very handy one.
Everyone (or so she thought) saw Sloan as a Sloth but in reality she just felt too much, both good and bad feelings. I loved how little by little she came back to life.
Maxi-pad (if you know you know) was everything. I loved everything about him! His past, the man he was when he met Sloan and the man he became after the military. I loved that he served with the other brothers and how he just fit in the family, very much like the other mates.
I just loved them together so much!
This was a slowburn and i didn't even noticed it. That tells me that it was a very well written story because otherwise i would've noticed the lack of certain things. I was truly surprised when sexy times happened and how late in the game it was because i didn't think it was almost over.
With that said the sexy times were good!

I'm warming up to Daisy but it's hard. I'm intrigued to see how her story is going to unfold.

So when we first saw Sloan in Envy I have to admit to being unsure of her as a character. However after this book I absolutely love her! Sloan is an absolutely badass and I cannot get enough of her. Max is pretty awesome too. And as Liza amazingly points out, he is the best name “His name means big d**k... Get it, Max for maximum, Johnson for d**k?”

I love this story & this is one of my favorite series ever! If you love superheroes then this is the series for you. Definitely a must read.

Continued Sinning

Yep, I’m addicted. Am I feeling many of the SINS as I eagerly consume each story? I guess it’s a good thing that Gluttony is next, because I am gorging myself on the Lazarus family. Sloane and Max’s story grabbed me and it didn’t take long to finish, because I. COULD. NOT. STOP. READING. Sure, there’s a bit of romance, bit it’s the story concept that has me hooked. Sloane with her sloth to control, meeting Max, who always has to be on the go to ensure he has everything covered made for a great read. More and more gets revealed and I’m looking forward to seeing what eventually happens with Daisy/Despair. Off to read Tony’s story.

I loved Sloth's story and I must say she is my most favorite Deadly Seven siblings so far. She is strong and vulnerable both at the same time. She can be lazy at times but when it truly matters not one works as hard as her. In short, Sloan is perfection.
Sloth is still angry at Max for the way he ended things back when they were dating. Her idea of revenge is playing pranks on the guy. But when they are forced to work together, she soon realizes that her feelings for him haven't faded away with time. The guy broke her heart and she isn't ready to give him another chance. However, her very DNA is going against her. Now, she must listen to his side of the story otherwise they'd never be able to move forward.
If Max is being honest with himself he would admit that Sloan is the reason he came to Cardinal City. It is not easy to resist her. She is badass and he feels strongly for her. But is there a future for them or will they just break each other's hearts all over again?
Together, they continue fighting the Syndicate; the biggest enemy of Deadly Seven and the peace in their city. Just like every book in this series, Sloth not only tells the story of Sloan and Max but the side story continues as well. I especially loved the fact that we got to know Despair a little better in this book. I also enjoyed all the little titbits about Tony and can't wait to see what the author has in store for him. All in all, this is a great read and the series is going very well. Each book contributes to the overall plot and gives us more insights about the 'Deadly' siblings. Ant their little banters keep providing us additional entertainment. I think I have mentioned this before, but I really love how they all interact with each other. That gives their characters so much depth and you can feel how real they are. I think this series is a must-read for anyone who enjoys paranormal or superhero romance stories. And even if you don't I highly recommend this as your first superhero story. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
