Vampire's Kiss by Atlas Rose

2 and a half stars, not quite three because I still don't know how long that time jump was actually meant to be.

The concept was good, I liked where the story seemed to be headed and the idea, but the execution and editing let it down (one major error was: a time jump, I'm still not sure whether it was meant to be years or months), although this didn't stop me from reading the rest in the series.

*Not everyone's opinions are the same, this is just my opinion,

Average at best. Wasn't a fan of the writing, felt  surface level  while trying too hard. Stuck it out because I wanted it to get better but it didn't. I liked the premise.
Spoiler Fmc is strong and independent but must be dominated by a strong man

It was alright. I enjoyed it enough to finish but not enough to continue with the next book. I just found it to be odd, it's called Vampires Kiss and yet the love interests were only seen like 4 times... and yet they all over each other. I just found it odd and fast.

I honestly picked this book up expecting it to be all smug and not content but I got the opposite and actually enjoyed it. The spicy parts were spicy and the plot itself was so good!

This is an exciting stories that is interesting and intriguing throughout the story. This is well written and very entertaining. This is a gripping and thrilling start to a new series. I really enjoyed this combination of the mafia, paranormal, and RH.

Lots of thoughts here

Alrighty folks so here it is:
I have some conflicting thoughts about this book.
Pros-The concept is a really good one. There weren’t many errors and I enjoyed the characters and the story line. my favorite part of this book was the last 5 pages (which ends on a small cliffhanger FYI)
Cons- My problem with it is that it comes off a bit disconnected. It doesn’t quite flow as smoothly as it could in my opinion. The first 50% of the book (Litteraly) is a set up for what’s to come but it doesn’t involve the main male characters at all. There was one meet up between 1/4 main males and our female lead and his name was never said nor did we know who it was at that point. I struggled with this because as they introduced the other 3/4 of the men later on, they have a total of one meeting where only one other says actually words to here before the second meeting where the decided she was going to be theirs and all of them were committed to her... like ??? mhmm come again? As mentioned above the last five pages were the best part and well written.... until you get to the last two sentences which feels like a bit of a rushed ending. I mean if they’d taken the time to just write a handful of more sentences than it would have been a different story. And finally there was a discrepancy a few times when there was time jump and the amount of time constantly changed from 8 months to 8 years which was a bit annoying.
All in all I’m still intrigued so I’m going to read the next book but if it’s more of how this was written I’m not sure if I’ll stick around for the rest of the series.
