i didn’t think i’d end up giving this book as high of a rating as i have, especially since there were definitely long sections of astrology that i skimmed and skipped. most certainly it is not my usual type of book, especially with that ending, what a shock. however it is very slow and requires quite a lot of patience to get through.

I found the ending surprising and yet, as I continue to think about the book, I see it. I enjoyed the voyage.

This was not a murder-mystery - we follow the ramblings of a "crazy woman" fighting for what she believes is right. I enjoyed the message of the book, the commentary on society/vegetarianism/perception of others but it took me forever to finish this wee book as the ramblings sometimes hade struggle lol

This was the first book in a long time in which I felt like I could see into someone's mind. The main character is absolutely unique and getting to know her was wonderful regardless of the background story. It's also a great story with lots of humor and things you don't expect. One caveat is that I don't think this book is for everyone no matter how much some of us liked it.
