Fast paced, thrilling, short chapters. I just sometimes find the characters to be missing something.

A man is kidnapping women with specific body traits and their bodies are turning up with bluebird tattoos. Can helen find the killer before his next captive dies . Would have been a 5 but the mild incest is a big nope

Third book in the Helen Grace series and this one may be my favorite. I flew through it and finished it in a day and enjoyed the stuff going on outside of the case because it was just so dramatic, but the case was also wild. Arlidge does a good job of making her chapters short so I keep saying, “okay just one more chapter” because they’re usually no more than 6 pages total but I just can’t stop.
