garbage! usually dick, even at his worst writing-wise, can be counted on for endless invention. the only particularly intriguing thing in this book was the theology, which was never really fleshed out very well. otherwise it was just a boring annoying murder mystery with a cheap ending.

This is my second K. Dick and it was just as wacky and enjoyable as my time reading Valis.
This one is like an Agatha Christie whodunit in space, but it got so much deeper than I ever expected.
The conversations on Theology was absolutely fascinating and aided in adding depth to the characters and the plot, as we got to see people's core beliefs and the potential direction of the where the story would go, thematically. I can't get over how thorough this was.
Of course, being a bit older, there were some questionable descriptions of women, but despite that this was an entertaining, engrossing and thought provoking read. Added to that was the greater mystery unravelling, guessing who did it, what this set up really was about and feeling on the edge of my seat throughout.
Pick it up, give it a go and enjoy! >(^_^)<

A quick, fun read that's lacking something I can't quite put my finger on.
