1. this was unnecessarily long, it could’ve been 300 pages shorter and it would’ve been fine
2. he refers to his dick as his sword of thunder

Very cute little smutty romance. Worth the read for sure. I flew through this book and enjoyed falling into the world Mack has created. The characters are fluffy and easy to like and the story wasn't convoluted or too complicated as to take away from the main goal - that being the romance and smut not actual hockey goals.

Characters:
The main couple were well written and their problems understandable and are dealt with realistically. Though I wouldn't say they are enemies to lovers I love a little struggle at the beginning. Good chemistry over all and I have to say I'm very happy that this sports romance didn't have a female love interest that is a dancer (I feel like every other hockey player lands either a dancer or a figure skater).

Plot:
As I said before not complicated and based mostly around relationship ups and downs. Nothing too deep here, but not too fluffy as to make you lose interest :)

Would I Recommend:
Absolutely! Romance lovers - especially sports romance lovers - should make this a must read!

I really loved this book!! It definitely felt like a Wattpad/fan fiction style of writing that I know not everyone enjoys but I really did! I fell in love with Ollie straight away but was very weary of Carter at first. I wasn’t a big fan of how Carter was not taking Ollie’s no in the beginning of the book. Due to that and just how much Ollie being short was brought up I had to dock my rating a star. As someone of around the same hight, it does often come up but it just felt a bit excessive at sometimes. I still very much enjoyed the book, and am looking forward to continuing the series!!

What a lovely change it is to read a romance novel in which the characters are actually together for the majority of the book. So often these days, we spend the majority of a book waiting for a couple to get together and then the epilogue is the only place that we get to find out how they actually get on sharing their lives. Consider Me allows the reader to experience the full picture of Olivia and Carter’s relationship, while still playing with the flirtatious banter and vulnerability that comes with getting to know a new partner.

I have wanted to read this series for quite some time because I heard that it was a very realistic hockey romance. I have to say that it did not meet my expectations in that way. I would have preferred to have seen far more of Carter’s day-to-day than we did, like training, his coach and the rest of the team, etc. Though I loved getting to know Emmett, Adam and Garrett, it would have been great to see more of the team and how they interact, as well as Carter’s responsibilities as captain.

Consider Me is playful, emotional, and heart-warming. Olivia and Carter both grow so much as people through this tale, learning how to open themselves up and trust other people. It’s beautiful to read. Carter’s journey, in particular, from playboy to being downright obsessed with Olivia is so sweet, and watching Olivia learn to accept his love is just gorgeous.

I wouldn’t say Consider Me is the most gripping story I’ve read recently, but it is by far one of the most real in terms of how the characters interact and progress. I especially love Adam and I hope we get to see him get his happy ending as the series progresses.

Relatively easy romance read. Pacing is a bit off at times, especially after the halfway point: some parts feel really long and other parts happen too quickly. No major plot with a fast developing romance which I thoroughly enjoyed.

A couple of clunky sentences which could have done with a revision (typos, wonky wording, clearly edited sentences with a word change but the original word was left in). But still enjoyable.

Sword of thunder 🤢🤣
