Really enjoyed the found family aspect in this book. The Red Rogues are just the best friends/sisters you need to help you through some terrible things. Can't wait to read the other ladies stories.

Piers was just fantastic. A scarred hero who is gruff and burly on the outside to protect himself, but really he's just an ooey gooey marshmallow. He is pretty mean and inconsiderate when he finds out that Alexandra is not a virgin. In his defense, she still hadn't told him of her trauma yet, BUT STILL! He had a lot to make up for. AND HE DID. He's so romantic and swoony and protective. He has the alpha protectiveness but the beta romanticism.

Cannot wait to continue on with the series!
