super quick read. left me feeling icky. i wanted holly to shine and she just doesn’t.

that being said, the final story of this collection was quite sweet and moving.

Just not for me. It's fine to have unlikable characters, but at some point it was hard to care about this world where nothing happens and everyone is terrible.

The one star is for the third short story at the end “a Christmas miracle” which was cute and sad and well done. BaT’s does not hold up. This author seems to have a fascination with pedophilia as well, super creepy and way too manic pixie dream girl and just random all the way through like he’s never met a woman in his life. Holly was not interesting just all over the place. I’m very heated about this actually
