I doubt I realized this book had any relation to Peg Kehret's 'Horror at the Haunted House' when I read this in grade school. There's even a first to the series that I never heard of. Peg Kehret was one of those authors who was a constant presence in the library, at bookstores and yard sales growing up. I probably have read more of her than I remember. What I do remember was fun and thrilling and an ending guaranteed to satisfy.

So fast, fun and exciting. Plus I always learn something new about safety or anything else with Peg Kehret's books. Who cares that theyre aimed for a big of a younger audience, all her books are so good. Whenever I want something short and full of action and survival I pick up one of her books and it motivates me to read more.
