Idk why people didn't like the second part. The second part wasn't directly related to the Morisaki Bookshop but so does the first part, in a way. Although the second part did feel like a side story but it was just as relaxing and calming as the first part was. It's a slice of life/coming of age story with complicated characters and beautiful visualisation.
