An interesting story, with some characters I really like, but there was some problematic content that actually really surprised me.

Review to come soon.

An enjoyable, calm read sprinkled with a bit of sadness/realism.

Finally have time to write the review! I had been pushing this one sooo much futher but i’m so glad i picked this one up. The plot was sooo facinating as it had many aspects in it - how Felicity adapted to the new environment, her new friends and relationships with her grandma; her mother’s illness and Margot’s diary. There were some aspects that i would liked to have learned more about because they weren’t like completed? (etc. the forest and river) Anuway the book was a lovely and really cute for summer. The ending was written like there could be a sequel (which i totally would read!!).

The setting of this book is beautiful. The relationships are sometimes rocky and be ready for some heartbreak. This is not your typical YA contemporary, be amazed yet again by the wonderful Juno Dawson's writing and crafting of a story.

The main character is a teenager but the narrator is a Middle Ages woman?

Well that was different to what I thought it would be and completely wonderful!

I don't feel that I can go into any more detail without potentially ruining the twists in the tale for other people.

But it's brilliant and, be warned, I cried.
