Little too creepy for me personally

I also feel like the title is a kind of spoiler. Like from the first time we start hearing Josie’s story, we expect everything she says to be a lie. Not sure if that was what the author was intending but I think the payoff of the twists would have been higher if I hadn’t had that expectation going in

This book was addicting, I couldn’t put it down.

I love how every character is morally grey in some way, how the ending really drives home the theme of stories and how everyone twists the truth in some way, which is especially dangerous in the world of true crime media. Just a great book. It’s really hard for thriller books to stick with me and I feel like this one will!

definitely a page turner & worth the hype imo

I’ve seen lots of people saying to listen to the audiobook & I didn’t do that but I can imagine that’s even better than reading it

(I barely remember what happened in friends don’t lie but I felt like this book reminded me of that one?)

I liked this a lot more than I expected! This was the perfect pick for audiobook format. Not quite a radio play but it had a full cast and some sound effects. The story was intriguing and kept me sitting in my parked car a while a few times after finishing my commute.

This was a really interesting read. Took me a while to get into it, but once I understood what the book was about I couldn’t help but find it fascinating.
