⭐️ 5 "Family Runs Deeper Than Blood" Stars ⭐️
Trouble at Brayshaw High was such an intense read that all my thoughts are chaotic and I don’t know where to start with this review! After the way Boys of Brayshaw High concluded, I needed answers! The wait for this second novel was difficult, but so worth it! I loved everything about this story! Meagan Brandy put the drama to new heights with multitude of jaw-dropping revelations only making this read unputdownable.

"Honest loyalty doesn't need to be seen or stated. It's just as powerful if not more so when given in silence."

Raven is still the same badass heroine. I admire her courage and sometimes recklessness. She would do anything to protect Maddoc, Royce and Captain. She plays hand in hand with the enemy, but what she doesn’t know is that the powerful bond she forged with her boys makes her predictable. They suspect that her betrayal isn’t all what it seems. There’s a lot of push and pull between Rae and Maddoc with every ploy possible to make each other jealous. While she plays the tough girl, she also has some vulnerable moments! She doesn’t like to show that sensible facet of her and fights it, but Maddoc and the guys see past her mask.

Maddoc! How can I resist this dominant and intense guy? The way he feels about Rae is so palpable. He’s a goner where she’s concern. His actions are filled with passion and a swoon-worthy possessiveness that got me every single time. She brings a caveman in him that I found particularly attractive. Yes, he’s pretty intense, but he can also be so sweet!

"He likes my crazy, and I want his madness. It's pretty fucking simple."

Rae and her big Man are hotter than ever in TABH, letting the tangible connection they share turning into an inferno of hotness. Their charged interactions turn into explosive intimate encounters, but also bursting with feelings. Their relationship is utterly beautiful!

While Raven and Maddoc are the main couple of this story, it doesn’t mean that Royce and Captain don’t play a central part in it. Each of the boys with their engaging personalities have a special connection to Rae. Maybe it’s not a romantic one, but their friendships are so profound and amazing. Royce is always there to crack some jokes and make her laugh, while Captain is the voice of reason, the level-headed one. They’re truly a family and it’s so gorgeous to see the support between the little group!

"We weren't ready for you, Raven Carver. We weren't fucking ready."

Trouble at Brayshaw High is another story with surprises exposed at every turn and making this read so thrilling. Meagan Brandy undoubtedly knows how to keep you glued to the pages of a book with the way she wrote this story. Another epic cliffhanger ended this novel, so needless to say I need book three ASAP.

This series just gets better and better! I love the characters soooo damn much and the suspense in this book and all of the plot twists are MIND BLOWING!

There's secrets at every turn, lies, betrayal, and so much chaos that it makes your stomach roll and is an absolute nail biter from beginning to end because you never know what to expect next.

Raven continues to be the bada$$, sassy, fierce, and hostile girl we all love. Her loyalty to the Brayshaws and the fact that she never backs down from anything, impresses me every single time. Her character development is a beautiful thing to watch!

The Brayshaw Men? My GOD there are so many layers to them and I love watching as each one is peeled back. Maddoc is as possessive and broody and dangerous as ever, Royce has grown into this playful and charming character makes me swoon, and Cap's heart is even bigger on his sleeve in this one.

Meagan truly has a gift in storytelling. These scenes and her words and the way she brings all of her characters to life is amazing and I'm such a huge fan of her books!

Now...onto the conclusion. Pray for me!

“So, you’ll share your world, but not your mind?”
“My mind is dark, baby.”
“And?”
His mouth comes down, sliding across mine before he steps back, releasing me.  “And you’re afraid of the dark.”

That was one hell of a roller coaster. I’m absolute trash for Maddoc & Raven. And I love all the boys. I really do t know what to say. That ending was epic and the plot twists— give me a break. My heart just couldn’t handle all the plot twists.

My favourite scene had to be when Maddoc was getting ready to fight and then Leo came out!!! Then he bashed his sorry ass!

Anyways I just wanted to make this quick so I can read the third book. It was so good. Everyone should read this series!

Amazing

Loved this book! I thought book one was great but damn...THIS BOOK BROKE ME! I am obsessed with this book, the characters, the plot...they are EVERYTHING! Raven is amazing, but we know this. Big Man is what she needs and deserves. Royce kills me! He is HILARIOUS. AND Captain...omg..Cap... NO WORDS! Bring on book 3!

3 - 3,5 estrellas.

"Family runs deeper than blood, and I think I might have found mine."

These books are so freaking addicting. I love the boys and Raven together and the found family they have developed. Seeing how protective they are of each other is everything. I am obsessed with Raven and love how she is so strong and doesn't take bullsh*t from anyone. She is literally one of my fav female characters I have read. This book was plot wise was super entertaining and there was always something happening keeping me engaged in the story. Overall I am really enjoying this series and loved this book!

"She was more than that. More than we ever could have thought. More than we ever could have wanted. Everything us three cold-hearted assh*les needed."

“And what were you planning to do to protect us, to protect me?” I tell him the honest truth. “Anything.”
