Great debut novel...

I've had this author on my TBR for a while now and I'm so glad I finally took the leap to read a book of hers, and I plan to binge read the rest. This book was told in Blake's POV. You can't help but feel for her and all that she has to endure. If you enjoy reading about a character you love to hate, Justin is it. And Dash, well I just loved everything about him. I've not read any type of storm chaser book, so I thought that aspect was unique and intriguing. While I couldn't follow a few small bits, and jokes, with the technical terms, I love the rush it induced reading about them with the storms.

This was a wonderful debut novel. This book was really hard to read at times with the way Justin treated Blake, but I was so happy to see Blake grow stronger throughout the book and realize that she deserved better. I loved her friendship with Dash and watching their connection grow into something more. The storm chasing scenes were very realistic and made it feel like you were right there in the storm with them. The characters were very well developed and I'm looking forward to reading the other books in this series and seeing more from Blake and Dash in the future. <3

There was much I liked about this debut novel, but that was about the strongest feeling I could muster—like. The meteorologist angle was different from all of the other romance books I've read. So, that was a plus. Hail, Blake's English Bulldog, was a cutie. Another plus. Justin was so much of a jerk I just couldn't fathom his hold on Blake. No matter how it was explained. Dash was a prince compared to Justin, but I won't be adding him to my favorite book boyfriends list. Blake. What about Blake? Not a bad heroine, just a bland one. The writing was clean, as was the editing. I think I'll be curious enough about the author's next book to give it a try. I think she did well with this one. I just hope for wow with the next one.

Words cannot express my love for this book. For a debut novel, Molly Lee utterly nailed it! I LOVED the ups and downs that went through this book though at times Blake really needed a smack in the head but I am so glad that it was Dash that opened her eyes to a world of love and life. These two together are a force to be reckoned with and all of the analogies that Lee paired with the actual emotions of the characters was amazing. I felt the raw power and emotion behind them.
My heart broke for Blake as she suffered a long term toxic relationship and because she was so use to it and in a rut, she didn't know better. But slowly she started to get her backbone and I love how she came into her own throughout the book. At times it did annoy me but then how do we know how some one does react in a relationship like that. Lee was able to create Blake in a way that it felt like you were watching this relationship play out in front of you. Ladies, Dash is gonna be your new BBF and you will be fighting the women off of him! He is one of those guys that will sweep you off your feel and leave you breathless. The attraction he exudes to Blake is noticeable right away, but Blake is blind to it thanks to Justin. But when her eyes are open, it is a gale force wind that blows these two together!!!
This book overall is a stunning piece of work. The research that went behind it. The supporting characters. The raw power and emotion that went behind it. The pace was perfect, the plotline seamless and I honestly could not get enough. If this is Molly Lee's debut, I cannot wait to see more from this author! She has become an insta one click for me!

I was hoping for something that would wow me. This wasn't what I was hoping for.

I thought there'd be a thrilling element with the storm chasing, but this is really all about this fragile girl and her relationship problems. A mediocre love interest on the side and a whole lot of "almost hookups" and "I can'ts". When I get to the point where I'm craving more from a story (and not in a good way...) it's time for me to call it quits.

I'm a sucker for a cutesy love story. Throw in some weather talk and I'm hooked! Though, as someone who studied meteorology in college, this book was super cheesy! Kind of like the movie Twister, but in book form. It was still a pretty good fluff read.

I heard about Molly E Lee in a Facebook group for another author I read. And the description of this book sounded good. This is her first book ever! Well if this is what I am too expect from this author. I'm so happy to say I'll be getting her books from now on.

Living in Oklahoma the last 7 years I know all about tornados and the warnings. This book captured me with the areas in Tulsa she located the book I live around all these ares she mentions so I felt like I had a connection with the characters instantly! Abusive relationship, tornados, making new friends, discovering yourself, new love, and danger this book had it all! Such a wonderful read!

I'm very impressed for this new up and coming author!

I absolutely adored this book. 4.5 stars.

The characters were well-written and felt like real people. The same was true of the dialogue and the description of the storms as well. I devoured the entire book. The romance felt natural and not forced, and I grew to love Blake as she grew to love herself. I'm so glad this was my first read of the year. I definitely recommend it for fans of easy urban romance.
