I’ve read/listened to this book at least 9 times and watched the movie twice as much or more, and it has never failed to make me cry at least twice with each read, listen, or watch. This series is like home to me. I listen to it most when life is overwhelming, and it always helps me through.

It’s real for us. ⚡️

Wow. Harry having to confront his own mortality was heartbreaking. And the whole thing with Snape...oh man.

TRAGIC but GREAT

So many deaths of people I loved! It’s a shame! And of all people, Trelawney survives?! But it’s exciting and so dramatic and I’ve been reading it in the night under the covers!
I just wish that the Harry Potter & the Cursed Child wasn’t in a play form.

I'm still reading. I am torn between wanting to know what happens and not wanting it to end!

A fantastic conclusion to the Harry Potter series. I thoroughly loved the last book and the way the Rowling wraps up Harry's journey. There are so many depressing pieces in this book that my heart broke many times. I don't want to give any spoilers, so I will leave it here.

However, if you have never read Harry Potter, give it a try. I was skeptical for years, but I loved every minute of it.

Eh, Percy Jackson is better. The AO3 fan fictions are also better.

This is either my third or fourth read, and I've decided it's knocked GoF out of first place. This is now my favorite in the series!

So I finally broke down and started reading these books after some of the reaction to Alan Rickman's passing and his kind words for these stories. Although this is pretty far off my standard reading, I did enjoy the series as a whole. The first few books were rough as it was extremely kid-oriented which meant repetition and a lack of detail. However, the second half of the series got much better in regards to this. I can see why this holds a very special place in many people's hearts...and now I can finally understand what the heck everyone is talking about!
