Entertaining at times and sometimes cringeworthy. Emma's character was very unpredictable and not in a good way. One moment she is scared and embarrassed, the next she is angry and yelling. Jack's character was ...more

De este libro había leído que era realmente divertido, fresco y ágil de leer. Corroboro las dos últimas a pesar de que no ha sido tan divertido como esperaba. El principio comenzó muy bien; me hizo gracia la forma de la protagonista de enfrentarse al pánico en el avión soltando todos sus secretos a un desconocido a pesar de lo irreal de la situación. Mis problemas con la lectura han venido después. No solo la protagonista no me ha gustado, si no que la mayor parte de los personajes tampoco y recién terminado el libro no puedo decir ni uno que haya sido memorable o haya hecho que empatice con él. El siguiente problema ha sido lo poco creíble e irreal que se me han hecho casi todas las situaciones y escenas. Puedo pasar por alto muchas, pero aquí son demasiadas y que no, es imposible creerse algo así. Después tenemos varios problemas más en los que no puedo entrar por tema de spoilers, pero a Jack lo mandaba a paseo sin remordimientos y sin volver la vista atrás.
Lo malo en casos de altas expectativas o de esperar una novela de una forma en concreto es lo que hace que después te lleves un gran chasco. Una pena porque el principio prometía pero se ha ido desinflando y ha terminado por no gustarme ni la trama ni los personajes.

Oh how I’ve missed reading books that actually having a happy ending.
This book was so enjoyable to read. I was laughing, and cringing, as if I were watching it as a movie. Speaking of, I originally read this book because of the movie that came out, which has a particularly hot actor that may or may not have been in Teen Wolf(the series not the movie!). After reading this I’m even more excited for the movie but also cautious because I read this as a movie and it’s going to be hella different(I watched the trailer the people aren’t even british!). Anyways back to the book: super funny and cute. The author struggles a little with comma rules but don’t we all.

Very fluffy chick-lit romance. 3,5 stars; could well see it being 4 or 5 for a lover of the genre. This was a fast read, i finished it on a 3,5 hour car trip with time left over to knit and chat a bit.
