A gripping page turner from the start. It is only a pity that it isn't a full length novel as one can never get enough of the incredible Will Trent and his huge heart.

The investigation into a child abduction and possible human trafficking scenario at Atlanta Airport is eye-opening. The details on the airport itself and its procedures for dealing with this type of even are very interesting and I will never look at the airport in the same way again.

In sum, a short yet wonderful snippet of Will's life as a GBI Agent, and I look forward to reading the next book ASAP.

A great short story. A quick audio book, less than 3 hours. Grabs you from the start.

A pretty good short story. I can't believe she fit a full case into less than 100 pages.

This a quick, cinematic read that feels like a deleted scene from a movie. While it’s not as fleshed out as the novels, it’s also as dark, for which I am grateful. Slaughter packs a lot of tension into not many pages, and it’s always fun to watch Will, Amanda, and Faith outsmart bad guys who think they’re smarter than everyone else. The resolution is too good to be true, but as Amanda tells Will - “take the win”.

TW for child abduction and pedophila.
