It was a long time ago that I DNRed this. As much as I enjoyed the first book, or some parts of it, the  blatant homophobia was too much. It'd be one thing if the text condemned it, but instead, it was seen as humorous. I had hoped it would get better by the second book, but I was wrong. So yeah, i put it down and didn't pick it up again for that reason. It's too bad the series is bigoted, because there there were some genuinely funny moments.

Funny and lighthearted, really easy read.
Almost exactly the same review as the last book, if you're looking for gripping story content, you're looking in the wrong place, but it is a good laugh. The selfishness(even though she does have her moments) and shallowness of the main character are what make it funny.
