Hazel has so much courage in this book to be herself. Its hard enough being comfortable in ones own skin without adding her wildness in there but she does it despite all that she has faced before because of it.Her mother too,is it crazy that some people get attracted to you because of something then expect you to change when they are over it?Iam talking to you you Tyler Jones and Hazels dad!!!*eye roll*
How sweet is Josh though

This is not a typical book I would read but I did have fun with it. I listened to this on audiobook and enjoyed the narrators very much. I liked the alternating perspectives between Hazel and Josh. Thus story was cute and corny but in the best ways.

I unexpectedly loved this. Parts were a little painful though, because they hit really close to home...because I AM Hazel. I have never read a book character so much like me in my life. I totally totally get Hazel, as I know what it's like to be too "Amber-y" like when she calls herself too Hazel-y. The feels! It gives me hope I'm not totally doomed to be alone forever.

It doesn't help that once I found out Josh was Korean I kept picturing him as Detective Hot Cop (aka Mun) from Sense8, which made the whole thing even better.

Quirky characters, a quick entertaining (even though predictable!) story, a nice happy ending.
