i really like the half prose half picture style with different allusions in the pictures to the prose but the plot was just. ok

Enjoyed it! The mix of art and writing helped split up the two narratives we were following, and the illustration matches the haunting mood set by the text. I liked the poetic ending and how it mirrored the beginning. A nice intro to horror without being explicitly scary, more... unsettling and sad. Would recommend to fans of graphic novels/illustration and horror/mystery. The book is chunky but a relatively short read.
