This wasn't my favourite story, there was no mystery surrounding the case as the killer was revealed at the beginning.

The progression of the other storylines was good, although very sad! I'm also a bit done with this Sandy story now, I'd like it to just be over with as I don't really care about her.

I am quite disappointed. I used to really enjoy this series, but no longer. The last book wasn't great, but this one is worse. I got to about page 60, and I can't continue. The writing is cheesy and over-the-top. Farewell Roy Grace; it's been nice knowing you.

I’d previously rated Love You Dead, another in the Roy Grace series, one star! However, I found Want You Dead intriguing and fast paced with a few surprises thrown in. A solid 4 star page turner.

The chapters told from the killer's point-of-view are creepy and sometimes disturbing. However, I enjoyed the suspense of the investigation as well as in Grace's personal life. This is a well-written, engaging detective series and can't wait to read the next one.
