Liked it better than Volume 1 for sure. We're getting further into Light's psyche and seeing his weaknesses. Confluence is defined as "flowing together," so I am wondering if this is referencing both L and Light's journey in defeating each other.

I had to be honest with myself and admit that I just don't care where the plot is going and abandon the series at this point. Good, but not good enough for me to keep going.

Soooo good. Even having read/seen the story play out many times it is still a great read. As this is spoiler free keeping this short, as would not want to spoil anything. Most stories are best read with a fresh mind but especially Death Note. I will stay the story starts to pick up even more and is a gripping read. If you enjoyed book one, can not see you enjoy book 2 as much or possibly even more.
