Found this book very slow and a slightly hard read. Nothing much to urge me to read on. Don’t massively understand the hype.

A curious fun book. Astrology, vegetarianism, hunting and murder (or is it revenge?). Logic is really not the main thing on the surface here. We follow Mrs. Duszejko's narrative, and she thinks about star charts, and inheritance of acquired experience, and, of course, all those innocent critters. She also tears people down, to us, while kindly serving them warm tea on a winter day. Perhaps she's our modern-day witch. Despite the fun, it's also an uneven pace, sometimes grounding to a very slow pace. But ultimately it has a warm place, and a whole lot going on.
