Another amazing chapter in Nia story.

There are so much to love about this book. Nia is amazing, she's smart and a badass but she also has flaws that are very relatable. She makes mistakes and she owns up to them.

I love how history is mixed into these books as well as bits of magic and mythology.

This is a great read and I cannot wait for the next one.

Demeter's Tablet: a Nia Rivers Adventure is book two in this amazing series. In this book Nia is out to find or figure out Demeter's tablet but from those whom she has talked to, they all say it never existed. Nia is battling her emotions concerning her break up with Zane but she needs to figure this out for herself. Then crossing paths with another lover from the past throws her for a loop. She's attracted to him but she's questioning it. Her best friend Loren isn't helping because she wants Nia to hook back up with him so that she can live in the lap of luxury. Now they have arrived in Athens after learning that the Greek gods have given their Chosen everlasting life, so long as they choose. Nia wants to learn more about this and the woman who keeps appearing in her dreams. So now Nia will delve into these new things, interact with these gods who remember her but she does not remember them and strive to learn the truth of it all.
Demeter's Tablet is a book that grabbed my attention and took off with it before I knew what was happening. Right from the beginning I was totally engaged with this story. I couldn't put it down if I tried. Nia is so engaging as she struggles with her immortality. It weighs on her but she endures. She is dealing with the heartbreak of her break up but she's not letting it weigh her down. Her best friend is such a great character that I love her one minute and want to smack her the next. LOL! I absolutely loved it. The dynamics between the characters is so engaging and fun to read.
There was nothing that I didn't like in this book. The story is so well written and draws you in right from the beginning. For me not many novels can boast that but this book really hits the mark for me. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. Two thumbs up to the author. Fantastic read and a job very well done indeed.

Book two continues where the first book left off. Through out this book we are introduced to a new cast of characters, and along with the new characters is more lore and snippets into Nia's forgotten past.
I've really enjoyed this and the series so far in general. I ended up bingeing this book in one sitting at night. Like with the previous book, the characters, their relationships and interactions really shined within this book.

I cannot wait to continue this series and see where everything ends up going.
