I loved this book. It started out kind of slow and typical mystery. But that twist was so surprising. I couldn’t see it coming. Very well done. There are some parts where it slowed down and felt lost. Along with some places with out of character moments.

I listened to this on a whim and am so glad I did! I didn't know anything going into it and the last few hours of it my mouth was just fully agape!

I definitely liked this one better than Lock Every Door. However, this still did not give me the chills, I am always expecting after seeing him recommended so often.

While the plot was a little far fetch for me and I honestly do not enjoy reading Riley Sagers lead female characters. His writing style is quick and easy to read. He did a great job of keeping the pace and tension throughout the whole story.

This was just another ok read for me, nothing ground shattering.

I enjoyed this book enough to give it 4 stars. the plot twists were all crazy and unexpected. you'd think you had it figured out and then it jerked you the opposite direction. almost a little too many plot twists, could have done with one less, but that's ok. I didn't particularly enjoy the
supernatural element that came into play
but it slightly redeemed itself at the end.
I wish Casey died in the water, I would have liked to see how that played out lol

My 3rd (and so far least favorite) Riley Sager. Picked it up because I heard it got a film deal? I would've chosen a different Riley book 1st personally, but I'll still see it🤷🏻‍♀️
