Oh my! There are no words to describe how good this trilogy was. I read all 3 in less than 3 days. I can't wait for the last story to come out next month. There were moments in all 3 books that I want to throw my tablet across the room, in the next moment I was paying the book wouldn't have to end.

well... I've kinda mixed feelings about this book right now. i thought the last book would be much better than the second but I am dissapointed. the plot became boring in the middle and it felt like the same incidents were happening on repeat. the last 70-80 pages are much better than the whole book. on the other hand, I'm glad that Tate and Jameson finally realized that they are really made for each other and started loving each other in their own twisted way.
I was literally screaming when Jameson was saying that he didn't love Tate but this was his inner monologue β π―π πππππ πππ πππ π.

Sanders *insert mushy love swoony face here* I love him. Truly. And in this book... Jameson *super-swoon* This is the man he is inside--for her. No one else but her. I love, love, love that he finally showed and told her how he feels. Perfect ending to the trilogy. Perfect!

Such a disappointment. The first book was okay but after it the series started getting worse .

βIf you want to run, I suggest you do it now.β
So, this sounds stupid, but Iβd been delaying reading this book. Why, you ask? I knew Iβd love it. Everything down to the title and author is right up my alley, and I wanted to save it for a bad week. Since itβs raining to the point of flooding this week, I jumped in, and boy was it worth it.
βMost girls want something from me. A commitment, a connection, a trophy. Mostly I just want sex. Maybe someone I can treat badly from time to time,β he said. βI think you're looking for similar things. I think we could help each other.β
Jameson and Tate first crossed paths when she was barely legal, and that was because Jameson was Tateβs older sisterβs girlfriend. One night changed Tateβs life forever. Her family disowned her, and her plans to go to Harvard were scrapped. For the first time, sheβs allowed to live her life without expectations, and she spends the next 7 years partying and having fun. Considering how much happier Tate is after being disowned, itβs hard to not look at Jameson as a hero of sorts. (Donβt worry, the warm fuzzies towards him go away quickly enough). A chance occurrence puts her in the path of Jameson again, and thatβs when the real fun starts.
The old Tatum had been fun to play with, cute. This Tatum, he wanted to own. He wanted to break her down, bend her to him. She seemed a worthy adversary, and Jameson loved a good fight.
Jameson and Tate are fucked up, and I loved every minute of it. Theyβre not monogamous, they say nasty things to each other (well, mostly Jameson, but still), but most of all, theyβre perfect for each other. I know most people love Jameson, and I did, but Tate made the story for me. Tate is so far from a virgin that she canβt even see it in the rear view, which was great, since Iβm so tired of that trope. Sheβs the perfect mix of vulnerable and strong; sheβs also funny, jaded, and a lot like every mid-20s female Iβve ever met. Iβd be lying if I said she didnβt remind me of the hot mess I was back then. As far Jameson, heβs a total asshole, and even that descriptor doesnβt begin to cover it. Heβs rich, entitled, and just all-around evil. Thereβs a reason Tate is completely serious when she calls him the Devil.
...he's Jameson Kane. He's like my worst nightmare and my biggest dream, all rolled into one.
Tate and Jamesonβs story is suspenseful and exciting, but the side characters make this story. Sanders, most of all. But even though I often got mad at Angier, heβs a great character too. Thatβs the thing about the characters in this book: they piss you off and make you love them in equal measure. Jameson and Tateβs story isnβt for the faint of heart, but itβs very real. Some people arenβt looking for that in this genre, and thatβs okay. But for me personally, I loved it. Puppies and rainbows are fun some of the time, but so are debauchery and promiscuity. People are who they are, and I respected the unconventional lives and loves of these characters. This author excels in conversation, which means the banter between Jameson and Tate was hilarious at times, rage-inducing at others, but always entertaining. Beware, though; the suspense in this series is INSANE. At the end of the first book, Jameson fucks up royally. By the end of the second one, were still not sure if he can redeem himself. If youβre going to read the first book, either buy or borrow the next two!
βOh, and Tate, you forgot these,β he said, digging in his pocket. He pulled her panties out and tossed them onto the floor. βYou always seem to be dropping these around me.β
