This book was absolutely amazing!! Definitely hooked me from the beginning!!

*Stepbrother
*Age Gap
*Dark Romance
**Check for Triggers before you read this book.

Rigger and Navy had a rough childhood and Rigger did what he thought was best and thought he was protecting Navy. But he never knew what was happening cause he just assumed everything was like it should have been. Until he saw her for the first time in 15 years at the Honey Pot.. Shock for both of them after all that time. Navy couldnt bring herself to explain why she was there fully because she had lost her faith and trust in Rigger. Rigger knew he wasnt letting Navy work there as anything she had applied for so he created a job. He did what he had to. They both fought their attraction the best the could just because of what others might think. But in the end they decided they didnt care and they hadnt spent alot of time together before now.

Outside of omegaverses and hockey books I have been devouring motorcycle clubs. It started with the Royal Bastards universe and has been branching out here. There ever since, but when I saw that Misty Walker was releasing a new series that will start a whole new world, I could not get my hands on this one fast enough! This one is also in NV and we do get a little glimpse of the RBMC Reno NV Chapter in here and that was so much fun! But this club on its own and in this book specifically we are focused on Rigger, he's the club vice president. He had a very rough upbringing because his dad was TERRIBLE. By the time he was 16 his dad was getting remarried. The woman he was marrying had a daughter who was technically Rigger's step sibling and there was a huge age gap between them. She was only 6 years old when they came to live with them. So he protected her and was always there for her. They had that sibling/protective reilationship for two years before he disappeared one night wtihout any explaination. After he was gone Navy didn't see or hear from him for 15 years! By the time they run into one another again she's auditioning to work in the new club that Rigger's MC is opening to make some clean money. The club is kind of a one stop shop for stripping and prostition. She plans on doing either or both to make enough money for her and her mom to finally run away from Rigger's dad. I kind of hate how she was so obsessed with saving her mom. On one hand I get it and she really wants to save her mom and its pretty much always been just them against the world but on the other hand she gives her mom so many chances in this book. It sounds like Navy has been going through so much more the past 15 years just to protect her mom that at some point she should've started picking her over saving her mom. Even though I didn't love this one as much as Walker's addition to RBMC, I see the potential for this series. This is the first book and we are just starting to know the club members and seeing how the clbu works. Due to this new business adventure we didn't spend much time at the clubhouse and I missed that side. I've realized lately that RBMC books I enjoy the most spend a lot of time in the clubhouse and around other members. This world has much potential to be massive since we have two worlds between the clubhouse and the new brothel.

Stepbrother, Alpha male(protector), motorcycle club, forbidden, 10 year age gap. This is dark…child abuse and sexual assault happens and is mentioned frequently throughout the book. I am a fan of Alpha males and Trigger did not disappoint! There is no cheating, it has an HEA, and can be read as a standalone.
