Read this in one sitting today. So cute. I love the simple, whimsical illustrations and the story about the wonders of imagination and the boundless things a young girl can do - dream, compose tales, explore the world around her. While I'm not sure how a child would've read this, as an adult reading a picture book I like to roam about the page after taking in the sentences, and the illustrations here have small delightful things for the eyes to find. It's a book I wish I had read when I was little.

This book is about a little girl and where her imagination takes her. Even more interesting to me were the drawings by Julie Morstad. She complements the text beautifully.

A cute concept. But a bit too much tell rather than show made the text a bit stilted. And in the end there really was no story. So not a bad book, but this definitely could have been a bit better.
