Gory and intriguing! I love the jumps between present and past, very effective way to tell the story.

Similar to Stranger Things, in that small town meets cosmic horror way. Erica and the monster feel very anime-inspired.

This one pulled me in immediately. It's no wonder since the same guy did The Woods!

2.5 stars, rounded up just because the main character is named Erica :P interesting premise, poor execution. The dialogue was kinda bad, the plot development not really logical (and a bit ripped off of Stranger Things), panel layout confusing at times...art is cool though. I will def read the next installment in hopes for some payoff.

Stranger things with a badass female character called Erica Slaughter Is saving children with her sidekick, a stuffed animal.. I need the next volume and of course this is creepy because it involves children and it is very graphic so be prepared for blood and gore. You will be wan to put this book down once you pick it up.
