A heart-wrenching debut to a wonderful series, leaving me hungry for volume 2! Oseman's simplistic style helps the pages fly by as the great will-they-won't-they unfolds at Truman Grammar School for Boys.

Such a cute book. It's my first time reading a comic novel like this, so it's a bit out of my comfort zone. Nevertheless did I enjoy it so much! I did watch the first season of the Netflix show first, so I wonder if my opinion would be different if I read this beforehand.
The drawing are very cool, I like Alice Oseman's style a lot. I'm very excited to read the next comics!

The most imortant thing I want to say about this is that I desperately wish that I could have had this when I was 13 or 14. Oseman portrays younger teens, their lives and their feelings in a way that makes them feel incredibly real and so easy to relate to.

This was my first ever graphic novel that I've read and it impressed me how much I loved it.
Can't wait to read the rest of the series!

i have had this book for a long time. and it took the Netflix show coming out for me to read it. and let me say: I was so mad at myself for waiting so long to read this. it is such an amazing, heartfelt, emotional, queer graphic novel and I am OBSESSED. I feel like this story- especially Nick's (questioning his sexuality and taking an "are you gay quiz" lol) might be relatable to alot of young people who aren't sure what their label is.

this is such an inspirational, loving, book. if you need a gay book (with a lot of representation), this is the one for you.

Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, showstopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it

comfort read. i just love seeing queer teens living the life i didnt get to. the story is realistic, not downplaying the homophobia but also not turning it into "suffer porn". the characters are relatable and behave like actual teenagers, we dont get that a lot even in the ya genre. the only downside is it finishes really quickly :/
