A really enjoyable read! I loved the characters and the world building. I loved how hopeful it was without being unrealistic. Highly recommend!

Devoured this in less than a week. Extremely disappointed when I realized the (white) author was inspired to make a lighthearted fantasy by the 60s scoop (yikes), which was handled poorly, in retrospect

Everyone needs to Fuck Off. This book. THIS BOOK. I was smiling and crying and smiling while crying. I have never read a book more wholesome and hopeful and joyful. A review on the front cover says its like “being wrapped up in a big gay blanket”. At first I didn’t really understand how that would work. Now I get it. Oh my god, I get it.
