This was a wattpad story turned YA. We follow the pregnancy of Tonya but I'm sad that the one scene that really matters, the labor, is skipped over.

This was an easy book to read although I did not feel there was any real substance or plot to the story. Tonya might be pregnant, but she has parents who are supportive and encouraging, a new boyfriend and a completely regular life. Tonya does not show signs of having to struggle to make ends meet or juggle a hectic schedule. She was able to work when she wanted, nap, and eat, had a car to drive around in and a best friend who practically lived at her house when she wasn't at college. I know this was a debut novel and I think Katrina Marie will write some great stories in the future, but unfortunately this one falls a little short.

This is a no spice romcom in my eyes. I would have liked more about whether or not Jake stepped up as a father and more about Reaf in general. But I laughed and really liked this book.

Welcome to Your Life is about a teenage girl who finds out she is pregnant after her high school graduation. The story was good, but I felt like it a little too fast. Maybe, it's because I didn't see, well, read any struggle from Tonya (teenager) or feel much emotion. I love that Tonya found love while being pregnant, but I wish I could have read what life was like a few years after the baby was born. Overall, I did like the book.

This book is a quick, sweet little read. Not 100% my cup of tea but I enjoyed reading it. It's a YA romance. It deals with the struggles of teenage pregnancy, college as a single mom, etc. There's a lot of emotion in this book but I had a hard time connecting with it. Good book, just not for me.
