i enjoy the pacing that kennedy is able to keep but i can never appreciate how that last 100 pages feel so rushed. same complaint i had with the graham effect. every issue was mentioned and then solved within the last few chapters just one after the other. it really takes away from the build up kennedy creates. i think shane and diana are good together and enjoyed their character development. i also like how each character has a set of problems that is either addressed or taken care of by the end. it makes them more relatable and helps the story progress nicely. side characters added humorous relief and the mention of characters from other books in the universe is always fun. i could really do without all the smut and the mention of sex during serious situations…

Loved the way she handled anxiety among other things (Don’t want to spoil)
This was an emotional rollercoaster, I was crying and laughing.
Diana was a bit annoying at the beginning because her “hatred” for Shane didn’t seem believable/very surface level.

Ask me if I’m okay? (I’m not.)

Elle Kennedy gets better and better, and I never want to let Briar University go. The Dixon Rule is sexy, gut-wrenching, thought-provoking, hilarious, and will hold your heart in its clutches and never let go.

I wasn’t sure I was ready to say goodbye to Gigi and Ryder but Diana and Shane have stolen my heart. Their expert sarcasm and undeniable chemistry makes for some truly hilarious scenes. Then enters Will Larson and we have truly been rewarded with some of the sexiest writing I have ever been honoured enough to read. Oh my. This book had me blushing from head to toe.

As Elle does so beautifully, The Dixon Rule, romantic as it was, handled some truly devastating and harrowing topics so very well. From domestic abuse to terminal illness, each hard-hitting topic was dealt with with grace, respect and an understanding of how different people handle the same situations differently and that’s okay. I would strongly advise you to check your trigger warnings before reading The Dixon Rule but please be assured that this story is one of love and resilience and handles each of these subjects with the utmost care.

I was SO thrilled to see the appearance of so many of your favourite Briar U characters. I’m still eagerly awaiting the arrival of everyone but to get a deeper glimpse into the lives of our OGs was so much fun. That being said: justice for Allie, Brenna, Grace, Taylor and Demi, most of whom haven’t even had a mention yet! Fitz too!

I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, I’ve giggled like a school girl. The Dixon Rule was everything.
