I enjoyed reading this book. It’s the first one I’ve listened to where the FMC is a person of colour and I thought I wouldn’t like to because it’s not relatable to me. But I really enjoyed the characters and the FMC was a total badass! It was a unique concept and I really liked the plot and the characters. Smut was pretty good and I look forward to reading the next one!

I would have liked it to be longer and gotten more back story and character development. It’s hard to do RH in a standalone and hit all the bases. Regardless I would still recommend the read and I would likely reread it :)

OMFG I did myself a huge disservice by not reading this book sooner!!! I devoured this book, and I am not one to read MC romances but toss in some super sexy Mer-shifters that have magic powered motorcycles and I'm hooked.

This book really has all kinds of Shifters, Vampires and witches. what ever I write will never be enough to express how amazing this was. the Krakens motorcycle crew was made up of so many different crew members who all brought something different to the table.

Our FMC Naomi is so Whitty and strong she didn't back down ever. her dynamic with the MC crew was everything and her best friend Lourdes was hilarious. The smut, action, humor in this book has me running to read every book by this author that I can!!!

My favorite part of this book is that they have their motorcycles enchanted so that they can ride them in/on the water. For the first part of the book I was imagining them like a jet ski, like on top of the water...but later they mention them fully submerged and that's just the best thing ever for a water shifter MC club, right?

Tied for first place:
The scene where they have to leave the club because of the um...person exploding. That demon is on my list of favorite people.

Possible spoilers:
I was bummed when I found out Box's reason for his club name, I thought for sure it was short for box cutter given his affinity for blood. I'm only half kidding. Also, because of this...I thought knife play would take more of a role.

Things that I am absolutely furious about (but not really...but I'm still sad about it)... All the shifters in the book are mer-people (not true, there are other shifters, but the main characters are all mer-people). THE KRAKENS ARE MERMEN. I'm so bummed. LOL. The rivals are the Rogue Waves and their emblem is a big red wave... WHY AREN'T THEY SHARKS??? (shark week, red wave? no?) I just....I wanted....I'm just sad. LOL
