Terrible ending to the series. It was as if all character development from the previous books was forgotten. Many plot points were left hanging. Had a lot of potential but failed.

Only plus was the narration. It was pleasant to listen to.

Full of action and full of so many twists. I love it. Over way too soon. Loved the series. One of my top favs. So sad it's over. I liked how the boundaries of good and bad were always in question

3.5 stars. Rounding up because I really liked series overall.

Is this really the last book?! I have way too many questions! That ending left so many things unfinished that it's driving me crazy. I would lay out my specific questions but wouldn't want to spoil the book for anyone. This series has definitely been my favorite in the YA dystopian genre....even with this crazy ending.

I really felt for Partridge in this book, you get a real feel for his predicament within the Dome. I loved El Capitan in this book too and was rooting for him the whole time. I want to say more but don't want to ruin it for anyone......

My non-spoiler review is I liked the second book better. But the ending was a redemption for the parts of the book that I didn’t enjoy as much.

My spoiler review is
Spoiler Partridge is a dumbass. I can’t believe how stupid he is. He had LYDA. She risked everything for him and he chose fucking Iralene. I know she was just doing what she was like made for but of all the things in this book that made me angry. Partridge is TOP OF THE LIST. Besides that it was a good read. I’m so sad for Pressia, her and Bradwell were meant to be. And in my own heart her and El Capitan can be happy. Lyda is a badass and I’m so glad she stayed from the first book through I fully thought she was going to be a random throw away character. But I love her.

I wish these books gained more popularity. I know it’s a very weird concept, but that’s the point of dystopia. I loved the characters and the maze of challenges they went through.

I would say that this series is one of my favorite dystopian society series. With that being said, the only reason I can't give Burn 5* is because there are still so many questions I have and I felt the ending was a little rushed. I think a Novella or a 4th book could answer these questions. But overall I understood the decisions, even if my heart didn't always like it, and I really enjoyed this series.
