Loved this book, the only thing that kept it from being a 5 star book, was Carson and Blake, their whining really grated on my nerves.

This book in another installment in the Lowcountry Summer series by Mary Alice Monroe. Much like the others in the series, we continue following the journey of three half-sisters who not only learning to love themselves but are also delving into love and marriage in this book. We get to read about, what I imagine to be, the beautiful and magical South Carolina lowcountry and the connection people have to the place. This book does not disappoint for those who are fans of the first three books. Monroe keeps us interested and even throws in a twist introducing a new character to the bunch named Atticus. I recommend these books all the time for people who love a good beach read or anyone who wishes to be transported to another place. This book could work as a stand alone if you have not read the previous books and does a good job of keeping you up to date as to what is happening in everyone's lives. I have enjoyed these books immensely and would love to see yet another installment to the series.

I really enjoyed this book. It is the 4th one in the series and I am planning on reading the first three as well since I enjoyed it so much. I lived in the low country for 6 years and miss it a lot. This book took me back there, you can tell the author loves the region and is very familiar with it.

I won this book in a Goodreads Giveaway, I totally lucked out cause I had already preordered this book when I found out I won it :)

So, clearly I enjoy this series. This is the fourth book in the Summer Sisters series. I'd recommend reading all four. This book would work on its own, but then you'd miss out on knowing the characters as well as you could.

In this book, sisters Carson and Harper are both planning weddings for the same weekend in May. Their sister Dora is also in love, but afraid to commit again.

There is a new character introduced in this story. I loved his secret and I also thought he was a lovable character who added to the story.

Everyone is going through their personal dramas leading up to the weddings.

I'd have enjoyed some more time devoted to Dora, this time she faded into the background a bit. I know there's a lot of main characters here, so I guess despite the book being 400 pages I just wanted even more :)

Maybe we could get another story? I'm not ready to give up the Muir family.

I think the perfect way to read this book would be with the theme food and drinks listed at the end of the book :)

A great summer read and ending to this series! I loved this book from one of my favorite authors. I cried and laughed and felt like I knew these women after four books. Beautiful story twist. Well done!

I've laughed, cried, wanted to throw the book, and have been left longing for more. Mary Alice Monroe is DEFINITELY becoming one of my favorite authors!
