I really liked this book and will definitely read the others in the series.Β
Layla is a second-year medical student. She is focused only on her studies, but when she asks for Callan's help to get rid of a drunk man at the bar, everything in her life will change. They spend a super hot night together, and after that Layla will wake up in a new position. Now she had to be a fake fiancee for Callan in order to help him get custody of his niece. She is a super strong woman and Callan's little niece has a special place in her heart.
Callan is very hardworking, protective and cares a lot about his friends. He and his former colleagues went their separate ways when you disbanded the band, but they remained close. And this can be seen when Callan's life changes radically and he needs all the support of his friends.Β
The relationship between Layla and Callan is super hot, and they take care of each other when something bad happens.
Although this was the first book I read by this author, it will not be the only one. I can't wait to read the next book.
