4.5 stars - LOVE! Layla & Callan are so good and fun together, right from their first chance encounter. They’re drawn to each other, Callan has a little knight in shining armour moment saving Layla at the bar and their connection is obvious. The chemistry and attraction is insane, and their one night stand was so hot omg. And then it turns out he is her new professor! And they’re working together! Instantly hooked and enjoying every second.

All the characters are amazing, the Fritz family is so wonderful and I definitely need to read those books. I love a good family dynamic and this group is so warm and loving! It was really easy to fall in love with Layla and Callan, they were so funny and spicy, the tension as they try to stay apart was chef’s kiss, and all the emotions & heartfelt moments were the perfect cherry on top! Age-gap, one night stand, professor/colleague and forced proximity had me hooked, but the fact this was also fake dating and he falls first — like the tropes are just too good and the execution of them was amazing!

Thank you Valentine PR and J Saman for giving me the opportunity to read an early copy. I love it <3

Fake dating, single dad and crazy tension. I saw this book and had to instantly read it, very glad I did so.

“No. I can see what you’re thinking because I’ve read that romance book too, and no.”

This is the second book in this series that I’ve read (both out of order but it didn’t matter) and I liked it just as much as the other one. The relationship between the characters was believable, although I wished the fmc was more like 25/26, I feel like that’s the maturity level that was written so I just pictured it that way anyways.

This author writes a really well thought out story and plot that doesn’t feel two dimensional. She builds a world with side characters and makes you feel what everyone else is feeling. The use of the niece was pretty well done although I thought she’d be in a few more scenes, she didn’t feel like a plot device.

The ex and the friend drama was a bit of a stretch, but didn’t really deter from the book. And I wish the spicy scenes were a bit shorter. Overall a good read and would recommend.

Notes:
Did a really good job with Boston geography and locations. Although she did say state of mass. at one point instead of commonwealth of mass.

Felt like author was injecting either her opinions or the woke pc culture in saying that the little mermaid doesn’t portray a good message for girls 🙄

Irresistibly Wild is the third book in the Irresistibly Yours series by J. Saman, featuring an angsty and steamy forbidden love/fake relationship romance for Callan and Layla. Callan and Layla meet in a bar one stormy night. She needs cover from a pushy jerk, and Callan needs a distraction from a bad day at work. Their connection is immediate and passionate, leading to an unforgettable night that alters both their lives, when Layla walks into her med school class on Monday to meet the new professor… Dr. Callan Barrows. They continue to be thrown together in professionally, amping up the angst. When the ultimate tragedy befalls Callan’s family, Layla is there to help. Now he’s the one who needs rescuing. Is there hope for a forever arrangement?

Wow! I’m not even sure what to say! I knew this book would be great, but this was an experience! It took me longer than normal to read this one, because I got so emotional! This is a serious tear-jerker, people!

Single parent trope isn't my thing. I never pick it up, but since I read the first two of the series and enjoyed them I figured I'd give this one a try.

As with the first one, this is insta love, yes it's fake dating/fake fiancé, but they fall fast and they fall hard. Layla is kinda meh for me though, she give off "not like other girls," and "I've been hurt before and refuse to now," even though she doesn't follow through on any of the rules to keep her heart safe.

Callan ends up fighting for custody of his niece when his brother and sister in law are killed. So, it's not his kid, which makes more sense, I kept waiting for an ex lover to show up and drop a kid on his doorstep.
