Gives you the inside look into Si's life before Duck Dynasty and before he joined Duck Commander. Some of it had me laughing and going wtf?!?

Loved the show and enjoyed the other family members book but so far this was my favorite. Obviously very funny humor and interesting stories, but also got to learn more about Si and his family and his values.

As silly as it seems, this was actually a really interesting book, nice to know more about Si's life other than what you see on Duck Dynasty. Great guy!

Adorable and fun. He obviously had help writing the book, but it's obvious he told the stories, and the writer just put them together in a way that could be understood.

I have never watched Duck Dynasty in my life, so I had no idea what to expect going into this book. I wasn't even confident that I would even enjoy it.
But, as it turned out, I really enjoyed this book! It was such a quick and funny read that I flew through it in a couple of hours!
Being from the South I love listening and reading stories from people's lives, and that is what this book was. A collection of stories.
I found this book so interesting and funny. I liked it so much more than I ever thought I would.
If you want to read a funny book about an interesting life, pick up this book! Even if you're like me, and have never watched Duck Dynasty, I would still recommend it!

I am actually a sucker for Uncle Si, I think he is the star of Duck Dynasty hands down but this book was just ok for me. There were parts that really made me chuckle; However I found it hard to keep interested. I thought there was a little too much "filler."

Fun to read about my favorite Duck Dynasty personality. I love how honest (though embellished, I'm sure!) and open he is about his personal life. Reading this book really rounded out my view of Uncle Si - he's not just a hilarious fun-loving free-spirit. He's had a lot of hardship but has kept his heart and humor in the right place! I could have done without the hard right-turn into religion at the end, but hey, that's to be expected. Variety is the spice of life, Jack!
