Ever since it blew up with the release of the anime, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has divided the manga/anime fandom. While some like it, some despite it. I was worried about how I’d feel about the series when I got the box set for Christmas. And today, I finished the series…
I have good news. I liked the manga quite a bit.
The storyline of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba revolves around Tanjiro Kamado. After his family is killed and having his younger sister, Nezuko, turned onto a demon in the process, Tanjiro decides to become a demon slayer in order to turn Nezuko back into a human. The writing is well done, nothing complex but still good, and the art work isn’t as bad as people say it is. It fits well, and improves considerably as the manga goes on.
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba by the end. I don’t have many complaints, and I’ll be diving into the first box set of Bleach afterwards. Give Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba a chance…you might end up enjoying it.

A beautiful resolution and denouement for one of the best Shonen manga of the past decade. I can't wait to see ufotable bring this to life in the coming years.
